ABOUT

Langkawi Island is the biggest island in Malaysia that has around 99 islands around it. This island is a part of the state of Kedah. There are a lot of tours available in Langkawi to you get started but normally most tour do not operate during the monsoon season from July to middle of September as the sea become choppy and it is dangerous.  Pekan Kuah is the capital city of Langkawi and it is duty free area where you can shop and buy at the lowest price around Langkawi area. 

HOW TO GET THERE?

People can easily get there by plane. Direct flight are available from Penang, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hatyai and also Phuket. The airline that offer services to Langkawi Airport are Tigerair, Silk Air, Air Asia, Firefly, Malindo Air and also Malaysia Airline with the lowest fair. Those airlines operate daily flight to Langkawi so there are no reasons for you to get there. During my time, i choose to take a Air Asia flight to Langkawi. It is easier to get there and it not cost you a lot of time. So you can enjoy more on your vacation in Langkawi Island rather than spend a lot of time on transportation. 

Next, for those are willing to put up with the crowds. You can also go there by ferries that operate four routes to Langkawi from Kuala Kedah, Kuala Perlis, Penang and Satun from Thailand. The price was also affordable and you can enjoy and feel the moment more. From my past experienced, i took ferry to going back from Langakawi Jetty to Kuala Kedah Jetty just want to feel the moment being in the ferry.

WHERE TO STAY?

Since Langkawi is the biggest and most popular island in Malaysia, of course it has a lot of hotel and resort to stay from budget accommodation to the luxurious resort. Throughout the whole island, you can get any hotel and resort easily. You just need to pick and make a decision which one that you prefer the most. If you are planning to stay at capital city of Langkawi, you can choose any hotel around Pekan Kuah but mainly it just offer basic accommodation. For me, if you want to feel a fantastic view over the sea with a private beach, I would be more enjoy to stay at the resort and hotel around Cenang Beach, Barau Bay, Rebak Island Resort and so on. 

This is Rebak Island Resort. This place is suitablefor those who wanted a privacy. During my time, I choose tostay here because at that time i have a high budgetfor my  accommodation but it is proven that this is most awesome place to stay in Langkawi.

For those who doesnt have a lot of budget on accommodation,

just relaxt and keep calm beacause in Langawi

WHAT CAN ATTRACT YOU?

Hello guys, for today post i wanna talk about what Langkawi Island can attact you?Around Langkawi island there a lot of places that you can go and visit. The popular places that people usually visit was Langkawi Cable Car, Langkawi Eagle and Lagenda Park and the last one is island hoping. However there are plenty of activities that people can enjoy and visit in Langkawi. For instance you can go to Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tanjung Rhu, Padang Maksirat, Skytrex Langkawi, 3D Museum and many more. Im sure you wil enjoy your day in Langkawi Island!

LANGKAWI CABLE CAR

This cable var will take you 2.2 km long telpher carrier that start from Oriental Village on the northwestern side of the island. The carrier will take you up to Mount Matahari which is one of the highest mountains at the island. From the Gondola, you also can see Seven Wells where that was another attraction of Langkawi. On top of the mountain, they provide you small restaurants and store. I’m sure that you will be amaze of the beautiful scenery up at the mountain just like what I felt

Here are the picture of my family in the cable car and at pick-stop of the cable car. Just look at the amazing view with the fresh air up at the mountain. It was one of the memorable moment in my life to be in the gondola at the higher height. 

LANGKAWI EAGLE AND LAGENDA PARK

Throughout my journey in Langkawi Island. I was going to Langkawi Eagle and Lagenda Park where it is located nearby the jetty point. From what I have read, the eagle symbolized the island of Langkawi. Here, you can enjoy the best sunset on the island. Besides at the Lagenda Park, it was a splendid park with many trees plants and flowers. The air was so fresh and it full of beautiful flower and covered around with so many greens. The parks contains of information about the island so you can read it and enjoy some information that you never know about Langkawi Island.

ISLAND HOPING

Hola! If you guys wanna know there are about 99 islands around Langkawi, you should go on island hoping that that is probably the most popular boat tour in Langkawi and the cheapest one. This tour covers 3 spots scenic island to the south of the main island and eagle feeding where you can watch the marvelous spectacle of many eagle. The two islands offer a plenty of activities such as swimming, paddle boating, snorkeling, sunbathing or just relaxing and enjoying the stunning view around the island. The 3 spots are Dayang Bunting Island, Singa Besar Island and also Beras Basah Island
